The WYBSL uses April 30th of each year as the benchmark for determining the “playing age” of all registrants. Playing age is the basis for the WYBSL’S league divisions. For example, our 8U Softball league is for players who are age 7 or 8 as of 4/30 of this year. You can find the playing ages for all leagues here. Playing ages are also important in determining a players eligibility to “play-up” to an older league. Please see important requirements for “playing-up” on the same page in our website.
