Concession Volunteers

WYBSL operates three concession services – at Huber Village, Metzger and Towers Parks. Each year, our concession operation provides a valuable service to our families and contributes an amount equal to about $8 per player (which otherwise would cause increased player fees) to the League.

Here is a sampling of volunteer opportunities helping in our concession efforts. These opportunities do not involve working in the concession trailers on game nights. If you’re interested in helping with one or more tasks, please click on the link below and:

Position:  Concession Venue Managers
Works With:  Concessions Director
Number of Volunteers Needed:  3 in the Spring

Time Required:

• 1-2 Hours on each of 2-3 days per week (May-July)

Position Description:  Works with the Concession Director:

• Assist in setting up and preparing the concession trailers in April/May
• Assist with maintaining inventory and stocking the trailer(s) with food and supplies
• Assist in cleaning and removing Metzger trailer in late July

Skill or Other Requirements: Availability during the day; training will be provided, a van or truck would be helpful but not necessary.

Position:  Concession Committee Member
Works With:  Concession Director
Number of Volunteers Needed:  2-3

Time required:

• 1-2 Hours on each of 2-3 days per week (August-October)

Position Description:  Working with the Concession Director:

• Assist with maintaining inventory and stocking the trailer(s) with food and supplies
• Assist in cleaning and removing Concession trailers in October

Skill or Other Requirements:  Training will be provided, availability during the day and a van or truck would be helpful, but not necessary.
