Equipment Volunteers
Each year, WYBSL volunteers help to receive, inventory, distribute and collect more than $150,000 worth of uniforms and equipment to teams and our 41 diamonds.

Position: Equipment Bag Volunteer Group
Works With: Equipment Director
Number of Volunteers Needed: 3-4
Time Required:
- 2-3 Hours on 2-4 days/nights in late March/early April
- 2-3 Hours on 2-4 days nights in late July/early August
Position Description: Working with other volunteers and the Equipment Director:
- Help fill team equipment bags and distribute them to teams at coaches’ meetings. All work is done at WYBSL’s storage sheds on East Broadway.
Skill or Other Requirements: None
Position: Field Box Volunteer Group
Works With: Equipment Director
Number of Volunteers Needed: 2-3
Time Required:
- 2-4 Hours per week from April through July
- 2-4 Hours per week from August through October
Position Description:
- Clean and load equipment boxes at all diamonds at start of season
- Bi-monthly restocking of first-aid kits and missing equipment.
- Empty and winterizing all field boxes at season end. Moving contents to – and inventory field equipment – at WYBSL’s storage sheds on East Broadway.
Skill or Other Requirements: A van or truck would be helpful, but not necessary
