SPRING REGISTRATION IS OPEN!
Newsletters with complete registration information have been mailed to all 2019 families and should be in-home the week of February 10th.. Please review the newsletter and/or our registration pages on the website to learn about age divisions, schedules, play-up requests, assessments and other deadlines.
Once you’re ready, the most convenient way to register is through our online application. You can also attend a walk-in registration session on March 7th or 14th. These will be held at the Westerville City Offices between the hours of 10am and 1pm. Please use the East entrance to the building.
Please remember to register by March 16th to avoid late fees, apply for a scholarship and/or request to play with a friend (certain leagues only).
“ON DECK” E-LETTER
WYBSL distributes monthly editions of On-Deck during the regular season. Click the links below to see current/previous issues:
Started in 2018, an Ohio law requires the WYBSL to provide information to all parents/guardians, players and coaches regarding the incidence of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA). Additionally, parents/guardians and players wishing to play in the WYBSL must read the handout, watch a required Ohio Department of Health (ODH) video – and sign an acknowledgement form that must be returned to the league before participation.
Coaches must also read the SCA handout, watch the ODH video and sign an acknowledgement form.
If you’re using our on-line registration application you can sign the acknowledgement form within the application.
Please visit the ODH website to access this information and forms.
CONCUSSION CERTIFICATION / CLEARANCE
All official head and assistant coaches must complete the free, online concussion training as required by Ohio Law. Read more and take the training.
PARENTS – if you son or daughter was removed from a practice or game as the result of a possible concussion, you must have your physician/care provider complete and sign a medical clearance form and submit it to your coach.
After you register your child, you’ll automatically begin to receive On Deck, our new E-Letter, sent to the e-mail address you listed as “primary” on your registration form. On Deck is planned to be a regular service sent each month or so with up-to-date information and changes about the League. Click HERE if you wish to receive On Deck or have it sent to an additional e-mail address.
