MAKE-UP GAMES
Make-up games are scheduled throughout the season as needed. Schedules will be posted on the league website generallly on Friday mornings. Make-up games are traditionally played on Saturdays (starting at 10am) and Sundays (after 12pm).
The “make-up week” is Friday thru Thursday. For example, a Thursday rain-out will be made up 2-3 days later on Saturday/ Sunday. A Friday rain-out will be made-up 8-9 days later on the following Saturday/Sunday.
When Saturday make-up games are postponed, they generally move to Sunday at at time three (3) hours later than scheduled on Saturday.
WEATHER HOTLINE
Schedule changes are sometime necessitated by weather or other field condition concerns. The WYBSL operates a weather hotline (614-523-6220) which is updated on weeknights by 4p, Saturdays by 8a and Sundays (for make-up games) by 11a. Schedule changes are also posted on Twitter (@WYBSLalerts) at the same times.

LINDSAY’S LAW
Started in 2018, an Ohio law requires the WYBSL to provide information to all parents/guardians, players and coaches regarding the incidence of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA). Additionally, parents/guardians and players wishing to play in the WYBSL must read the handout, watch a required Ohio Department of Health (ODH) video – and sign an acknowledgement form as part of online registration.
Coaches must also read the SCA handout, watch the ODH video and sign an acknowledgement form as part of their volunteer registration as well.
Please visit the ODH website to access this information and forms.
CONCUSSION CERTIFICATION
All official head and assistant coaches must complete the free, online concussion training as required by Ohio Law. Read more and take the training.
PARENTS – if you son or daughter was removed from a practice or game as the result of a possible concussion, you must have your physician/care provider complete and sign a medical clearance form and submit it to your coach.
